The architecture of the two-storey CLT house Switzerland is defined by clean lines, clear geometry and a contrasting yet harmonious combination of materials. The ground floor façade is clad in stone, which gives the building strength and stability, while the upper floor feels lighter thanks to its warm-toned timber finish. A consistent choice of materials ties both floors into a coherent and timeless building.

Vertical timber battens create a dynamic rhythm, shading the rooms from direct sunlight and ensuring privacy without losing the sense of space. The combination of stone and wood adds warmth and closeness to nature to the modern architecture, while the cross-laminated timber load-bearing structure adds durability and a long life.

Glass surfaces and a well-thought-out layout

Large glass surfaces open the interior to the surrounding landscape, bringing plenty of natural light indoors and creating a visual connection with nature. The courtyard terrace with a pool extends the living area outdoors and connects the indoor and outdoor spaces. The L-shaped layout of the CLT house Switzerland combines spaciousness with functionality and keeps the courtyard sheltered between its two wings. The ground floor is designed as an open, social living area, while the upper floor offers privacy and comfort as the family’s rest and sleeping zone.

The house can be ordered in a size and layout that suits you. For all houses we also offer a garage, carport, sauna/guest house, shed and other outbuildings, designed to match the architecture of the house.

Working with our architect, you decide the size, floor plan and finishing materials of your house. We take into account both the shape of your plot and the path of the sun, and we combine details from different houses to find the solution that suits you best.

A garage, carport, sauna, guest house or shed can be designed to match the style of the house. These can be attached to the house or built as separate buildings.

The result is a well-thought-out, functional and timeless home that blends into its surroundings and lasts for years. We support you every step of the way. The architect prepares the documents needed for the building permit application, and the project manager takes care of both the construction and all the documentation needed along the way.

For an initial overview, we’ll send you sample price lists for our houses, showing design and construction costs as well as possible additional work. We can prepare a quote tailored to your needs after an initial consultation.

Preparing the design usually takes 1–3 months, obtaining the building permit around 2–3 months, and construction about 22 weeks. Interior finishing may extend the construction time. The exact schedule depends on the project, the solutions chosen and how quickly the necessary decisions are made.

Yes. We design every house individually. Working with our architect, you can choose the size, layout and finishing materials of your house. We take into account the characteristics of your plot and the path of the sun, and we can combine solutions from different houses. The floor plans on our website are examples that we can use as a starting point when designing your home.

Yes. Houses under construction can be visited by prior arrangement. We can also meet at our office or hold an initial consultation by phone or video call. We recommend sending us an enquiry before your visit so we can arrange a suitable site and show you the solutions that interest you most.

Yes. We also build houses designed by others. Before construction begins, we review the existing design and adapt the necessary drawings and technical solutions to our construction details.

If you already have a plot, we can handle the design, the documents needed for the building permit application, and the construction. Our scope of work does not include landscaping or furniture. You don’t have to order all the work from us – you can choose which work to order from us and which to arrange yourself.
