The CLT house Belgium offers plenty of functionality within a minimalist design. Large glass sliding walls and open views of the courtyard bring light and space, while the U-shaped layout provides privacy and shelter from the weather. The courtyard between the three wings is sheltered from both the wind and the neighbours’ eyes. The flat roof emphasises the clean, minimalist form of the building.

The house is cleverly divided into living and sleeping zones and also offers a private sauna area. The exterior combines render and timber, which looks timeless and suits green surroundings well. The building footprint starts from 200 m², and building the house from factory-made elements takes about 22 weeks.

An adaptable house and outbuildings

The CLT house Belgium can be adapted to your needs by choosing a ceiling height between 3 and 3.8 metres and changing the size of the house and the number of rooms. This way the same architecture suits both a smaller family and those who need more bedrooms or a home office. The average air leakage rate of our houses is only 0.20 m³/(h·m²), which means a warm home. The house is in energy class A, and ground-source heating with near-zero-energy-certified mechanical ventilation keeps heating costs low.

The house can be ordered with a garage or carport. As additional buildings we offer a sauna/guest house, shed, outdoor kitchen and other outbuildings, designed to match the architecture of the house. We design and build the house as a turnkey solution.

Working with our architect, you decide the size, floor plan and finishing materials of your house. We take into account both the shape of your plot and the path of the sun, and we combine details from different houses to find the solution that suits you best.

A garage, carport, sauna, guest house or shed can be designed to match the style of the house. These can be attached to the house or built as separate buildings.

The result is a well-thought-out, functional and timeless home that blends into its surroundings and lasts for years. We support you every step of the way. The architect prepares the documents needed for the building permit application, and the project manager takes care of both the construction and all the documentation needed along the way.

For an initial overview, we’ll send you sample price lists for our houses, showing design and construction costs as well as possible additional work. We can prepare a quote tailored to your needs after an initial consultation.

Preparing the design usually takes 1–3 months, obtaining the building permit around 2–3 months, and construction about 22 weeks. Interior finishing may extend the construction time. The exact schedule depends on the project, the solutions chosen and how quickly the necessary decisions are made.

Yes. We design every house individually. Working with our architect, you can choose the size, layout and finishing materials of your house. We take into account the characteristics of your plot and the path of the sun, and we can combine solutions from different houses. The floor plans on our website are examples that we can use as a starting point when designing your home.

Yes. Houses under construction can be visited by prior arrangement. We can also meet at our office or hold an initial consultation by phone or video call. We recommend sending us an enquiry before your visit so we can arrange a suitable site and show you the solutions that interest you most.

Yes. We also build houses designed by others. Before construction begins, we review the existing design and adapt the necessary drawings and technical solutions to our construction details.

If you already have a plot, we can handle the design, the documents needed for the building permit application, and the construction. Our scope of work does not include landscaping or furniture. You don’t have to order all the work from us – you can choose which work to order from us and which to arrange yourself.
